Tasty Thursday: August 2016 Graze Snackbox

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

It’s been a long while since we’ve had a Graze box on here! I was sent an email by Graze to get half off a box of snacks, and I couldn’t turn that down! I’ve also got a rewards link to share with you guys! It’s specialized to my account, and when you use my link, you’ll get your first and fifth boxes absolutely FREE, and I’ll also get a box free thanks to you! 🙂

Graze is another subscription box service that offers healthy snacks. Their boxes are based on a rating system of Trash, Try, Like, and Love. As the user, you’ll rate each snack you get in your box and that will let the people at Graze know what you like and dislike. They also have a Food Preferences menu, so you can customize your box further based on your tastes or dietary restrictions (they have a list of foods that are and aren’t suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and a list with the ones containing gluten). You can also choose between several box types, including carb and calorie count, and boxes that are only full of sweet or savory snacks. Each box comes with a paper that includes tear offs of your friend code, and the nutrition facts of each snack.

Here is my referral link, and I do hope you’ll considering joining! Any box after the first free one (minus your fifth free one) will be $11.99 as the boxes now contain 8 snacks instead of four.

Now, unless I get a coupon code or someone uses my referral, I do not plan on getting anymore Graze boxes this year, because I can’t justify the price right now, even though I am working more hours than I did in the spring. So, this might be our only box this year, but that’s ok. I’m sure the snacks will be delicious! 🙂

Now let’s get started on these delicious looking snacks!!

The first snacks in my box is the Malaysian Laksa with Chili Lime Cashews and Coconut side snack. This is one of Graze’s new Asian broths, and while I would have preferred the Miso broth, I’m still excited I got one of these to try! It’s simple to make and that you take 8oz of hot water, and add it to the broth paste that’s included, then stir. This one is a spiced coconut brother, and I really hope it tastes good! It has 140 calories, less than 1g of sugar, and 3g of protein.

The second snack is my all time favorite Graze snack, the Wholegrain Banana Caramel Dippers! Sadly, two of my banana dippers were broken when I got my box, but that shouldn’t change the taste or anything, and I’m super excited to have these again! I love the banana taste of the dippers, and the caramel sauce is amazing! This snack has 150 calories, 10g of sugar, and 2g of protein.

The third snack is the Booster Seeds! This one is simply a mix of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and golden flaxseed. It looks like it’ll be a good snack to keep me going in the afternoons at work! This snack has 220 calories, less than 1g of sugar, and 9g of protein.

The fourth snack, and the end of the top row, is the Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake! This one looks so delicious, that my mom was even interested in it! It contains dried cranberries, mini cocoa cookies, strawberry fruit drops, and mini vanilla marshmallows. I really hope this is as good as it looks and sounds! This snack has 120 calories, 18g of sugar, and less than 1g of protein.

Our second row starts with the fifth snack, the Sweet Memphis Barbecue mix! This one looks interesting. It’s a snack mix of salsa flavored peanuts, wild rice sticks, and BBQ flavored peas. Now I personally love BBQ food, and this sounds like it’ll be delicious as a snack at work or in between classes! This snack has 190 calories, 2g of sugar, and 7g of protein.

The sixth snack is the Chocolate Cherry Protein Granola Topper. I’m really interested in how this one tastes because I love flavored granolas, and I think this one will be great on some vanilla ice cream or yogurt! This snacks is made of cocoa granola, chopped roasted hazelnuts, soy protein crispies, and freeze dried sour cherry pieces. This snack has 150 calories, 4g of sugar, and 5g of protein.

My seventh snack is the Lightly Salted Popping Corn! I’ve both popcorns from Graze so far, and I really like their popcorn, it’s really good! I liked the lightly salted one more than the twist of black pepper one, personally. This snack has 130 calories, 0g of sugar, and 2g of protein.

The final snack in the box is the Tomato Tapenade & Cheddar Bruschetta. The bruschetta bites in this snack were broken up, but I think that’ll make it easier to eat the snack honestly. It’ll be delicious either way, I think, and I’m really excited to try this out! This snack has 90 calories, less than 1g of sugar, and 2g of protein.

So there we are! This month (maybe this year’s!) Graze box! I’m super excited to try all of these snacks, and they all have long Best By dates on them, so I hope I can spread them out over the next two months, but I doubt I’ll be able to do that haha! I plan to review each of them as well, so I can give my opinion on the ones I haven’t had before.
