April NatureBox Shop Order

In April, I started to eat a lot healthier and made an order with NatureBox so I could have some great, healthy snacks, and wouldn’t be tempted to run to the vending machine for snacks, and this works great!

I was super happy with everything I ordered, and I’m going to go ahead and review it all here! So let’s get started! 🙂

IMG_20170412_215629

The first one is the Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies. And oh my gosh, these are AMAZING. They are soft and chewy, and have such a great chocolate tastes. I absolutely love these, and will definitely order more of them!

IMG_20170412_215645

These are the Sourdough Cheddar Pretzel Bites! These little pretzel bites are so delicious and crunchy, and the cheese taste is great! I may not get these the next time I make an order, but they were pretty good!

IMG_20170412_215654

This bag of California Dried Peaches are so good. I got majorly into dried peaches recently, and these are perfect. They’re sliced thinly and taste wonderfully, and while I very likely will not get them next time I order some snacks, they are totally delicious!

IMG_20170412_215703

The Masa Crisps I have had in the past, and I really do enjoy them. They’re a great little chip that have a great taste to them!

IMG_20170412_215718

Another snack I’ve had before, the Dark Chocolate Berry Trail Mix! I had to buy two bags this time because this snack is so good! I love the mix of nuts, berries, and chocolate!

IMG_20170412_215727

This is the last snack I’ve had before, the Harvest Nut Mix. It’s a great, salty trail mix that has a lot of substance to it, and tides me over until it’s time for lunch or dinner.

IMG_20170412_215733

These are the Sea Salt Cassava chips! Cassava is also called yuca, and these chips are so good! They taste just like potato chips, but they’re so much better for you! They’re delicious!

IMG_20170412_215740

Now these are the Hardbite Carrot Chips. Hardbite is not a NatureBox brand, from my understanding, but they are selling some of their items through the NatureBox store, and I had to get these to try them! I’m very pleased with them too! They have a slight sweetness from the carrots, but they’re also a little salty and so good!

IMG_20170412_215746

Finally, these are the Hardbite Beet Chips. I personally love pickled beets, and these chips are great! They have a little bit of sourness like a picked beet does, but they taste so great! I totally love them!

IMG_20170412_215827

So that’s my most recent NatureBox order! I’ll have another one sometimes this summer, because I’ll be needing more snacks eventually, so, just hang tight and watch for that! 🙂

January 2017 NatureBox – First shop order!!

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

NatureBox recently opened an online store! When I found out, I was really excited, because it meant I could spend as much or as little as I wanted, and get as many or as few snacks as I needed! I just placed my first order earlier this month, and it got here this past Friday! I’m so excited, because this means I can have quick, healthy snacks to take on campus with me! No more going to the vending machine for a snack!

NatureBox having a store means I can make an order before my snacks run out, and have more! And since I’m a member of their website and everything, if I spend $25 or more on snacks, I get free shipping, yay! So this post is simply going to show off what I got for a grand total of $25.32! I’ll also give an exact number of bags I ended up being bale to break things up into. I’m on campus five days a week, and already somewhat have a plan set for the snacks that I have.

Look at those pretty snacks. :3 And yes, I cross out the USPS tracking number on my packages lol.

img_20170113_173252

So the first new snack I got was the Dark Chocolate Berry Trail Mix. This is simply a trail mix with dark chocolate, berries, and nuts. Specifically, this has chocolate chips, golden raisins, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, dried cherries, roasted cashews, roasted almonds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I can’t wait to give this a taste!

img_20170113_173259

Next is the Lemon Tea Biscuits! I had these this past summer, and they were really good! This package of them had a few that were like, super thin, for whatever reason, but I’m sure they still taste good.

img_20170113_173345

These are the Jalapeno Cashews! I’ve had these in the past, but they’re still pretty new to the blog! They have a great taste, the jalapeno isn’t too strong at all! They taste great and are an awesome, quick snack!

img_20170113_173325

Once again, I have the always delicious Asiago & Cheddar Cheese Crisps. These are so good, I love them so much. They taste like fried cheese, without the grease! They also make me think of Cheez-its when I eat them, haha.

img_20170113_173339

This is a bag of the Blue Corn Tortilla Chips! I love tortilla chips, whether by themselves or with some salsa or guacamole. They are delicious! These are really good too, especially with some Picante sauce salsa! Too bad the bag isn’t very full. Mine is already almost gone.

img_20170113_173307

Here is the Harvest Nut Mix! I love trail mixes, and this one is so good. It’s really good as a little snack in between my classes! This trail mix includes peanuts, wild ride sticks, sesame sticks, almonds, toasted corn, and roasted edamame.

img_20170113_173314

These are the last new item, the Strawberry Carrot Chews. These are a fruit chew made with strawberry flavoring and carrot juice, so, it’s supposed to be a tasty, healthy fruit snack. They have more fruit chews in other flavors, but the watermelon stars are sold out, so I can’t get those right now lol.

img_20170113_173320

Finally I have the Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites back! These are tasty little, bite-sized chocolate chip cookies. They almost taste like homemade cookies, and they are so good!

img_20170113_173419

So that’s everything from my first, personal NatureBox order! 🙂 I’m super excited to have these snacks for work and class, and at such a great price! After splitting everything up into portion sizes, I ended up with 30 portions of snacks! That’s enough for about three weeks of work and class, taking two each day! I’ll definitely be making another order once these are gone, so there will be more boxes with these delicious snacks!

Tasty Thursday: September 2016 NatureBox

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

Here is the review of the fourth NatureBox I received this year! I will give the same description and explanation of NatureBox as the last three times, so let’s get on with the review!!

If you don’t know what NatureBox is, it’s a subscription company that provides you with healthy snacks in resealable bags or single serve bags. Unlike other subscription boxes, NatureBox allows you to put the snacks you want to try in our pantry, and they will send you exactly what you want, instead of a random group of snacks that leaves you guessing about what you might be getting.

Because they also have a referral program going on, I will share my referral link at the bottom of the post. If you would like to try NatureBox without spending $20 for five bags of snacks, you can use my link to get a box for free, and only pay $5 in shipping. You’ll also help me in the end, because when you sign up with my link, I’ll get a $20 credit and be able to bring more boxes to you guys!

So for September, I decided to do two add-on snacks for my September box! I got three items I’ve had before, so they will be first and be very short reviews, and then four items I’ve not had before, but I ended up loving when I tried them!

20160910_173828 20160910_173846

20160910_173906

The first item I got a second time as the Mocha Almond Bards! Mine came somewhat melted and misshapen, and NatureBox was kind enough to provide me with a free add-on snack in my next box. 🙂 These bars are delicious, and make for a good, quick breakfast if you need something fast to eat!

20160910_173938

Second item I got was the Chocolate Chia Granola. I recently ate this with some milk, and it was SO GOOD. It was just like having a cereal that made the milk all chocolately and good, and I really loved it! It’s so good as a late night snack!

20160910_173958

The third item I decided to get for a second time was the Harvest Nut Mix. I really enjoy this nut mix as a snack at work, and it tastes so good!

Now, we’re onto the four items I haven’t had before, but that I really loved when I got them!

20160910_173926

The first one is the Chocolate Hazelnut Granola! I’ve tasted this once before because my sister got it in her box and let me try it out before I decided to get it in my box. I haven’t been able to break into my bag yet, but I want to try it with milk, because I think it’ll taste great that way!

20160910_174015

The next item I got was NatureBox’s brand new Crispy Snickerdoodles! These are crispy, crunchy mini snickerdoodle cookies! These are deliciously crunchy and taste so good! They’re a great little treat, and I love having them!

20160910_174024

The third new item I tried out was the Masa Crisps. These are made with flaxseed and the flavor is great. They’re crunchy and a healthier alternative to potato chips!

20160910_174038

The last item I got was the Asiago and Cheddar Cheese Crisps. When I first taste these, I thought they tasted like Cheez-Its, then my mom said they tasted fried cheese, and they really do! It’s so good!! I’m getting these again with my next box whenever I can!

So that’s the September box! I hope to have a smaller box next month, maybe, with only three snacks, the free add-on they’re giving me, so it’ll have four snacks. If I don’t have it next month, I’ll be purchasing it as a birthday gift to myself. 🙂

Tasty Thursday: August 2016 NatureBox

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

Here is the review of the third NatureBox I received this year! I will give the same description and explanation of NatureBox as the last two times, so let’s get on with the review!!

You’ll also help me in the end, because when you sign up with my link, I’ll get a $20 credit and be able to bring more boxes to you guys!

And now, let us being with our late August review! I just got this box last weekend, and I’m pretty happy with it!

20160819_175022 20160819_185429

20160819_185441

So, yeah, I had to get the mac&cheese again! I really loved it, and it’ll be a great lunch to have at work this semester, as I do have access to a microwave and fridge on campus, and I’m really excited to eat these again!

20160819_185500

The second item I got, a brand new one for me, is the Mocha Almond bar! A friend of mine used my referral link to get herself a box and that got me a $20 credit, and she got these in her box and said they were great, so I had to try them out! These will definitely be in my lunch box this semester!

20160819_185517

My third snack was the Mini Cocoa Belgian Waffles. I expected these to have a crispy outside with a chewy middle, or to be entirely crispy, but they were soft like a cookie and the cocoa flavor wasn’t very strong. I expected them to be really chocolatey and tasty. I mean, they’re ok, but I don’t think I’ll be getting them again in the next box.

20160819_185530

The fourth snack is a bag of Salt & Vinegar Veggie Chips! I love salt and vinegar flavored chips, and these are so good!! The veggies they used are yuca, purple sweet potato, plantains, and yellow sweet potato. These are so good. The veggies are perfectly crispy and just like a potato chip, the flavor is great, and I’m totally getting another bag of these in my next box!

20160819_185538

(sorry this picture is sideways!)

My fifth snack was the Harvest Nut Mix! This is simply a mix that has peanuts, edamame, almonds, toasted corn kernals, wild rice sticks, and sesame sticks. It’s a tasty little trail mix that doesn’t have any chocolate, but you could add some M&Ms to it, and maybe some dried cranberries or raisins to make it an even better trail mix!

20160819_185548

Finally, I decided I was going to try all of NatureBox’s granolas that sounded delicious to me, and I started out with the Chocolate Chia Granola! This is a yummy bag of granola with a great chocolate taste to it, and I’m super excited to eat it for breakfast with either yogurt or just plain milk! I’m going to use Greek yogurt to add more protein, so I’m not dragging in the mornings on campus!

So there’s my August box! We will have one sometime next month for our September box, and I’m really excited for everything that I’m planning to get in that box! 🙂

Tasty Thursdays: July 2016 NatureBox

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

Here is the review of the second NatureBox I received this summer! I will give the same description and explanation of NatureBox as last time, so let’s get on with the review!!

You’ll also help me in the end, because when you sign up with my link, I’ll get a $20 credit and be able to bring more boxes to you guys!

With that, let us continue on and discuss what I got in my box this time!

20160723_172020 20160723_172032

Fair warning: This box is more sweet based than the last one, only one item (technically two) being savory. I wanted to get some sweets for work so I wasn’t buying candy at the store, which would save me money and calories!

(And yes, I did taste almost all of the bagged snacks before I took pictures. :] I had to make sure they were good!!)

20160723_172041

The first item in this box was the Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites. I LOVED these from first smell!! They smelled so good and sweet, but not overly sweet and the chocolate taste was perfect! These are supposed to be like 8 cookies a serving, but I took that down to 5 when I put them into snack bags to take to work.

20160723_172050

Next are the Lemon Tea Biscuits. I’ve wanted these since last year when I had my first box, and I’m really glad I got them this time! They’re slightly chewy and have just a small lemon taste, but it’s so good! I’m really glad I got these! The serving size on these is 12 biscuits a serving (they are TINY), but I cut that down by about half I believe, in order to get more out of the bag.

20160723_172057

The third snack was the Vanilla Bean Wafers! These little wafers are so good, I just finished off a snack bag of them while writing this lol. They’re small and cruchy, but not too crunchy at all. You can even see the little black specks of vanilla bean in them! These wafers are 11 per serving, and I cut that down once again to get more from the bag and have a light sweet snack at work.

20160723_172114

Now we have the Dark Cocoa Nom Noms. I LOVE THESE SO MUCH. They’re like an extra chewy, dark chocolate brownie bite!! I shared one with my mom and she thought they were delicious too! The serving is supposed to be two at a time, but I put one in each snack bag to make them last, and because they’re rather rich!

20160723_172120

The next snack is the Whole Wheat Blueberry Figgy Bars! These are a big Fig Newton, and I really like them! They’re individually wrapped, this is great because I can easily throw them in my lunch bag for a quick morning snack at work or before class!

20160723_172129

Finally, I decided to put this into my pantry as an add-on, so it cost me an extra $3, but I think it was worth it! This is the Mac & Cheese with Veggies! This one is pretty good I think. Again, as with the quinoa and couscous I had, I believe the fill line is a little high, and that makes it a little more wet and soupy than it should be, but the cheese sauce is really delicious and the veggies mixed it are great! I bet these would be even more delicious with extra veggies and maybe some ham!

So that’s the last NatureBox I have for now. 😦 If I get a good deal or someone uses my referral link, I’ll definitely do an add-on snack to make it an even six, and next time I think I’ll get three savory and three sweet snacks!

Tasty Thursdays: June 2016 NatureBox

***This is not a sponsored post. It is being done for fun and to inform, no other reasons are involved. The company that makes this product has no idea I exist and did not give this item to me for free.***

Today, finally, is the review and showing of my June NatureBox! I haven’t had a NatureBox since early last year, but when I was looking at their website they offered to give me two boxes half off if I restarted a subscription. Since I am working part time and making a good bit of money from it, I went ahead and got the two boxes!

This was the first one, and I was pretty happy with the snacks I got!

20160628_235621 20160628_235632 20160628_235644

(My cat wanted to be in the picture haha.)

So I got some bagged snacks in this box, and I even got to try out one of their new “meal” snacks in this box because I was really interested in and it sounded good to me!

20160628_235653

The first item is the Parmesan Garlic Pop Pops. These are half popped popcorn kernals with the flavor of parmesan and garlic. These were SUPER good, a lot better than I expected them to be! They didn’t leave a weird, garlic taste or scent to my breath, which is great, and I really enjoyed having these as a snack for work!

20160628_235703

The second snack is the Praline Pumpkin Seeds. These were an accident because I was messing with my pantry on NatureBox, trying to decide what I wanted to get, and they went ahead and built my box before I was ready. :/ But anyway, I ended up not really liking these in the end. There was WAY too much pumpkin spice flavor in the end, and I didn’t like how much spice there was. Just a personal taste thing, I guess.

20160628_235711

Third is the Toasted Sesame Stix. These were really good! I have a huge love for sesame sicks, and I really liked that these were a delicious, toasted flavor. They didn’t make me feel I needed anything else afterwards, and they were a really good, simple snack for work!

20160628_235720

The fourth snack I got was the South Pacific Plantain chips. OK, so, in the Spring semester of 2015, I took Spanish for the third time, and one of the student brought in fired plantains as a snack to share, and they were so good! These chips reminded me of those, somewhat. These were salty and delicious, and are a great alternative to potato chips! I’m not sure how much longer NatureBox will have these, as they appear to be a limited time snack.

20160628_235734

The final snack (or, well, meal I guess?) that I decided on was the Quinoa and Couscous with Summer Vegetables. Personally, I love both quinoa and couscous, and I thought this sounded like something easy I could take and heat up at work. All you do is add some water and put it in the microwave, like the mac&cheese cups. While I did like the flavor and that it was easy to make, my first one ended up way too watery for me, almost like the fill line is a bit too much water, I don’t know. I still have one more, I haven’t eaten it yet, so, I’ll try with less water next time and see how it works. If there’s still too much water, I’ll try draining it out.

So there you have it, my June 2016 NatureBox! I really love having these kinds of snacks with me when I’m working or have class, because it helps keep me away from the vending machine and the over priced convenience stores on campus.
